Saturday May 4, 2019: Season 2 Episode 6
Previously at the mouth of Merrimack River in Salisbury Beach State Reservation, continuing this river at the historic Mill City of Lowell. The Merrimack stretches 188 km (117 miles) between Franklin, NH and Salisbury, MA exiting into the Atlantic. Lowell, incorporated in 1826, is the 4th largest city in Massachusetts and is known for its textile mills which were powered by the river during the Industrial Revolution. Much of the city is preserved by the National Park Service (so no flying in the city). Coverage remained just above the river. Enjoy!
