Supermoon March 2019
The last supermoon of 2019 occurred on March 20th, the vernal equinox (first day of spring). We are not too far into the year and a total of three supermoons have happened: Super Blood Wolf Moon (total lunar eclipse), Super Snow Moon, and Super Worm Equinox Moon. For the rest of 2019, full moons will appear slightly smaller as those times are further away from perigee (point closest to Earth). Smallest full moon occurs at apogee (point farthest from Earth). Time to expand from Luna to Sol. Happy Spring!
